Scorpio Bulkers has lost USD 45 million in 2014

Scorpio Bulkers has only recently started actual operations of the dry bulk carrier, which still has a massive fleet in the pipeline. So far in 2014, the carrier has lost USD 45 million.

CEO Robert Bugbee's "beast," dry bulk carrier Scorpio Bulkers, suffered a USD 45 million deficit in the first nine months of 2014, according to the carrier's interim report, published Wednesday.

The carrier lost USD 19 million in the three months ending on September 30th alone.
