
In an otherwise tough dry bulk market, John Fredriksen's dry bulk giant Knightsbridge (VLCCF), which will likely soon complete a merger with the other bulk giant in the Norwegian shipowner's portfolio, Golden Ocean, has reached an agreement to charter 15 of the company's major Capesize vessels on long-term contracts, says the carrier in a statement.
The deal was reached with RWE Supply & Trading, a subsidiary of German energy group RWE.
