Norden sells its last Post-Panamax vessels

Bulk and product tanker carrier Norden has another step and will divest its last four Post-Panamax vessels, informs the carrier in a stock exchange announcement. The carrier will book a loss on the sale.


D/S Norden is selling its last four owned Post-Panamax ships in a deall that triggers a book loss of USD 16 million, writes the carrier in a stock exchange announcement.

Norden explains that the sale is part of the company's Focus & Simplicity strategy which has the carrier focusing its ownership in the bulk industry on the medium-sized vessel types Supramax and Panamax.
