Norden lost USD 19 million in first half of 2016

Carrier D/S Norden suffered a USD 19 million in the first half of 2016. The dry bulk market remains troublesome, while the product tanker recovery is starting to peter out. Management no longer guides with a full-year profit.

A persistently weak dry bulk market and a slowdown in product tanker hit Danish carrier Norden with a deficit of USD 19 million in the first half of 2016.

Management downgrades its full-year expectations and now guides with a deficit in the range of USD 60 to 20 million.
