Deutsche Bank: Significant potential in three bulk carriers

A full rehabilitation in the dry bulk sector is still some years off, but three listed dry bulk carriers in particular hold interesting opportunities for new investors, notes Deutsche Bank.

Even though the hard-pressed dry bulk carriers and their investors will likely have to wait another 1-2 years to get through the perfect storm, investment banks are now starting to eye potential for new investors in select listed dry bulk carriers.

The storm has left the otherwise fluctuating dry bulk sector with unprecedented asset value losses, but some of the biggest players hold significant long-term share price potential, writes Deutsche Bank's New York-based shipping analyst Amit Mehrotra in an update.
