Dry bulk recovery could continue into 2018

According to broker and analyst agency Allied Shipping Research, numerous signs indicate sustained growth in the dry bulk market for the rest of this year and into 2018. However, newbuilds pose a risk.

The gradual improvement in dry bulk demand could continue for the rest of this year, according to broker and analyst firm Allied Shipping Research.

Baltic Dry Index has risen since mid-July and into October by 72 percent, boosting the bulk industry's optimistic expectations to the market development for this year's last three months and into 2018.
