Container carrier forum TSA to be wound down

The Transpacific Stabilization Agreement is shutting down. "A logical decision in light of the consolidation in the industry," analyst Lars Jensen of SeaIntelligence Consulting tells ShippingWatch.

The partnership between large container carriers concerning their operations and elements such as recommendations of rate levels on the Pacific is now shutting down.

The Transpacific Stabilization Agreement, TSA, forum lost a member in Zim in the fall of 2017 and then lost Maersk Line in December. And now the TSA will be shut down, reports Lloyd's List Thursday.
