Maersk CEO open to share ownership of digital prestige project

Maersk Group CEO Søren Skou is prepared to consider sharing ownership of the digital platform for the container sector which the company is currently working to develop in collaboration with IBM, he tells ShippingWatch

The statement comes after competitors, logistic companies and shippers at the Global Liner Conference in Hamburg this week more or less unanimously criticized the fact that the ownership of a platform intended for use by the entire sector is placed with a single player, which is also the biggest stakeholder in the market with a global market share of 20 percent.
