Trade war claims its first victim in the container industry

The first container alliance can feel the impacts of the developing trade war between the US and China, writes Alphaliner in a new analysis.

2M is already being hit by the burgeoning trade war between China and the US. The two alliance partners Maersk Line and MSC have shut down a service between Asia and the Pacific North West, TP-1 Eagle.

"The loop will thus become the first casualty of this year's transpacific freight war," writes Alphaliner in its latest analysis.

Alphaliner: HMM set to go private in 2022
