CMA CGM appoints new executive vice president

The French shipping line has appointed a new executive vice president to replace Lars Kastrup, who was recently made new chief executive of APL in Singapore.

Christine Cabau Woehrel has been nominated as the new executive vice president of French container carrier CMA CGM, where she will lead the Assets business area, informs CMA CGM.

She replaces Lars Kastrup, who was recently appointed chief executive of APL in Singapore, owned by CMA CGM. From mid March, Cabau Woehrel will take over responsibility for the fleet, newbuilds, the container fleet and the group's terminals. She has previously worked at CMA CGM, where she began her carrier in 1987 and remained until 2011.
