Japan supports Hong Kong Convention

A total of ten countries  now support the Hong Kong Convention, most recently joined by Japan, the IMO informs.

The Hong Kong Convention is now one step closer to entering force.

A total of ten ships now support the convention's shipbreaking regulations, now that japan has declared its support of the pending convention, the IMO informs Wednesday.
