Maersk lowers expectations for container growth

Maersk projects lower growth in the container market in 2019 than previously stated. The shipping company finished the quarter with a profit of USD 520 million for its continuing activities.

A.P. Moeller-Maersk lowers its growth expectations for the container market, says the company in its third quarter interim report, published Friday.

The group previously expected a growth in the container market of 1-3 percent, but Maersk now lowers this forecast.
