Eimskip misses 2019 target after weak end to the year

Icelandic container line Eimskip downgrades its guidance for its 2019 operating result. The reasons include a weak conclusion to the year and added expenses for the closing of an office.

Icelandic container line Eimskip will not meet its previously announced target for 2019.

The shipping company had originally guided for an operating result (EBITDA) of EUR 52-55 million. Now, management expects to land at EUR 49-50 million instead, shows a stock exchange notice.
