Seaspan buys four ships and surpasses one million teu

Major shipowner Seaspan Corporation has purchased four modern container ships for a little over USD 350 million. The purchase pushes the company's combined fleet past one million teu.

Hong Kong-based shipowner Seaspan Corporation has acquired four container ships.

The purchase of the ships cost a total of USD 367 million and pushes the company's fleet to a combined capacity of more than one million teu.
