Unrest on financial markets caused by the coronavirus and oil price collapse prompts fishing group Samherji Holding to drop its planned acquisition of Eimskip.

Icelandic fishing group Samherji Holding cancels its planned acquisition of container and logistics company Eimskip.

In mid-March, it was revealed that Samherji planned to take over all of Eimskip's shares in a transaction worth DKK 1.4 billion (USD 205.3 million).
