MPC have reached the final step in recapitalization

MPC Container Ships just held an extraordinary general assembly at which all proposals in the ongoing recapitalization were approved. The meeting is "an essential final step" in the process, says CEO Constantin Baack.

Shipping company MPC Container Ships is in the process of carrying out a major recapitalization and a number of important puzzle pieces fell into place Monday, informs the company in a notice to the Oslo Stock Exchange.

The aim of the plan is to make sure that the shipping company makes it safely through the coronavirus crisis without having to divest major parts of its fleet.
