CMA CGM Group delivers significantly stronger operating profit

CMA CGM Group finished the second quarter of the year with an operating profit that was up 26 percent compared to the same period last year. The third quarter looks even better, says CEO Rodolphe Saadé.

French CMA CGM Group finished the second quarter of 2020 with an operating profit of USD 1.2 billion, which was an improvement of 26 percent compared to the same period last year, shows the company's interim report Friday.

This development has continued into the third quarter, says the group, which expects a significantly improved operating result fir the current three-month period.
