Israel's ZIM buys another 1,000 reefer containers

Container line ZIM, which is preparing an IPO, expands its capacity of refrigerated containers by another 1,000 feu. These will be used to, among other things, transport perishable cargoes such as foods and medicine.

Israeli container line ZIM, which works closely together with Maersk and MSC as a strategic partner of the 2M alliance, expands its reefer capacity.

ZIM has just purchase 1,000 forty-foot refrigerated containers from Carrier Transicold. The new reefer containers will be used to, among other things, transport perishable goods such as foods and medicine. ZIM already has more than 1,000 reefer containers in use on its ships.
