The Covid-19 crisis has paralyzed both economies and companies globally, but at the world's fifth-largest container shipping line, Hapag-Lloyd, the pandemic was not the biggest game changer in 2020.

If you ask the German container line's chief executive, Rolf Habben Jansen, the biggest change has instead been fuel prices.
