Søren Skou expects growth from Maersk's blockchain venture in 2021

Maersk CEO Søren Skou expects growth from the group's blockchain venture Tradelens in 2021, with it being poised for "actual revenue growth" next year, he tells business daily Børsen.

2021 will be a growth year for Maersk's blockchain venture Tradelens, which is poised to become a financial asset for the Danish shipping group, chief executive Søren Skou tells Danish business daily Børsen.

"We're on our way to having real paying customers. In the coming year, we will see actual revenue growth in Tradelens, and that it is actually a product that customers want," Skou tells the newspaper and states that the venture "is heading into a new phase where we truly have something we can sell."
