ONE to expand its fleet with six of the world's largest container ships

Container line ONE will charter six new mega ships of more than 24,000 teu, set to be built in the coming years. This comes after alliance partner Hapag-Lloyd recently ordered new mega ships for its fleet.

Container shipping line ONE expands its fleet with six new container ships of more than 24,000 teu apiece, which will be built in the coming years.

This happens through a declaration of intent with shipowner Shoi Kisen Kaisha. ONE will charter the ships of 15-year contracts when they are expected to be delivered between 2023 and 2024, writes the shipping line in a press release.
