Maersk appoints its head of strategy, Morten Bo Christiansen, as head of a new department tasked with overseeing the container line's green transition, reports Danish business daily Børsen.

Christiansen has served as head of strategy at Maersk since 2015, but he will now instead be heading the climate division, referring directly Henriette Thygesen, who serves on the Executive Board and is CEO of fleet and strategic brands.
