A ship from German container line Hapag-Lloyd has been struck by a pirate attack, during which the pirates boarded the vessel, the shipping line confirms to ShippingWatch.

The vessel in question is Dusseldorf Express, which was sailing near Cartagena in Columbia when the attack happened.
