The value of Blystad's container fleet skyrockets

Blystad-owned Songa Container's fleet value has increased by around USD 108 million since the start of the year, even with one ship less in the fleet, writes Finansavisen.

In the first months of the year, Arne Blystad carrier Songa Container has increased the value of its fleet by around 58 percent, despite the company selling off Songa Toscana, the largest ship in the fleet.

According to Vessels Value, the fleet was worth USD 187 million per the beginning of 2021. Today, the value is USD 295 million, an increase of USD 108 million, writes Norwegian business daily Finansavisen.
