Crashed Hamburg Süd vessel expected back in operation soon

The Hamburg Süd vessel that recently collided with quay facilities in a Brazilian port is expected to be repaired by mid-July.

Container vessel Cap San Antonio, which collided with a quay in the Port of Santon in Brazil in late June, is expected back on the waters again by mid-July, informs Hamburg Süd in a comment to ShippingWatch.

"The repairs are supposed to be concluded mid of this month. The ship was leaving the Port of Santos under pilotage and was involved in an allision with a terminal/wharf," the container carrier writes to ShippingWatch.
