Maersk books record results and announces new acquisitions

The world's largest container carrier, Maersk, delivers its best quarterly results to date, and the group also announces two new acquisitions in logistics.

Maersk delivers a net result of USD 3.7 billion in the second quarter, up from USD 359 million in the same period last year when the Covid-19 pandemic put a strain on the company's activities.
