Port congestion reaches record level following slight improvement in the spring

The bottlenecks in major Asian, North-American and European container ports keep on worsening and are now at record levels, according to a new analysis by Sea-Intelligence.

The analyst firm has examined status reports sent by container carrier HMM to its customers every other week since November 2020 regarding the bottleneck situation at ports.
