
Astronomic returns are coming to Maersk’s shareholders, forecasts stock analyst from Danish bank Sydbank Jacob Pedersen. Pedersen tells Danish business daily Børsen that the container line expects to pay shareholders DKK 30-50bn (USD 4.6-7.6bn) following a historic year for the container market.
The record-high yield is based on an expectation that Maersk’s profits from 2021 will land somewhere around DKK 120bn, writes the media.
