Ørsted explains how it will supply Maersk's annual 300,000 tonnes of green methanol from 2025

Utility Ørsted needs to hurry if it’s to deliver 300,000 tonnes of green methanol a year to Maersk’s future fleet of green vessels. Ørsted is to build a factory as well as establish solar and wind energy to run it by the end of 2025, says Ørsted VP.

Power company Ørsted is to deliver 300,000 tonnes of green methanol per year to Maersk starting in only three and a half years as part of an agreement meant to ensure that a series of new Maersk vessels can tank the sustainable fuel as of 2025.
