MPC Container Ships expects no signs of normalcy this year

Shipowner MPC Container Ships landed a significantly higher profit in the first quarter compared to last year. The company predicts a strong market, but container logistics normalcy won’t be seen this year, it says.

MPC Container Ships saw a marked profit boom in the year’s first three months.

The company’s bottom line increased from USD 3.5m in Q1 last year to no less than USD 116.8m this year, according to the shipowner’s quarterly report.
