Maersk downsizes bonus to employees despite breaking profit record

Workers will receive a smaller bonus than last time despite Maersk landing the biggest profit of any Danish company ever in 2022.

In 2022, shipping company Maersk delivered the biggest profit in Denmark’s history, where the company is based, as DKK 200bn (USD 29.6bn) was booked for the year.
