Former Maersk captain has license revoked following harassment cases

After two cases of sexual harassment, a former Maersk captain has accepted that his maritime license will be suspended for 15 months, among other sanctions.

Former Maersk captain Joseph McCann who allegedly sexually harassed a female ship’s cook in 2021 aboard Maersk vessel the Michigan must now hand in his maritime license and undergo a psychosexual evaluation.
