P3 starts out with 130 ships, compared to G6's 180

There are similarities as well as major differences between the two agreements behind the P3 and G6, respectively, in terms of how the US market will be operated. Here are some of the most significant differences.


P3 will be the most comprehensive container collaboration in the world, while G6 will be the biggest alliance servicing the United States.

P3 plans to deploy a maximum of 180 ships on US once the collaboration is fully established, with a capacity of up to 19,200 teu per ship.
