
It was apparently not an isolated incident when the numbers for the global container carriers' schedule reliability showed a sharp decline in January. According to the numbers for February, just published by SeaIntel, this decline continued through February, thus reaching a new all-time low for carriers' ability to deliver customers' goods on time.
The numbers for February show that 68.4 of the container ships arrived on time, as opposed to 69.5 percent in January.
