The EU approves Hapag-Lloyd/CSAV merger

The EU has cleared the merger between Hapag-Lloyd and Chilean CSAV, though the collaboration is still awaiting approvals from other countries.

The EU Commission has approved Hapag-Lloyd's acquisition of Chilean CSAV, a move that will create the world's 4th largest container carrier, says Hapag-Lloyd in a press release.
