
The five leading Asian container carriers Cosco, K Line, Yang Ming, Hanjin Shipping and Evergreen Line are now expanding their cooperation to cover routes to and from the US, and the carriers have submitted their application to the US Federal Maritime Commission and have notified the EU Commission.
Thus the five carriers - which are collaborating in the CKYHE alliance - follow in the footsteps of the new 2M alliance between Maersk Line and MSC, the similarly new Ocean Three cooperation as well as the G6 alliance.
