Maersk Line set to order the big ships

Maersk Line CEO Søren Skou tells ShippingWatch which type of container ships, in particular, he plans to order in the coming months. These would be the big ships, though not quite.

When Maersk Line launches a colossal newbuilding program within the next six months, worth USD 15 billion in total, the money will especially be spent on the major ship types of 14,000 teu and above, Maersk Line CEO Søren Skou tells ShippingWatch after the carrier yesterday announced that the investment program will soon turn into orders at the Asian shipyards.
