CMA CGM acquires German carrier OPDR

French CMA CGM has acquired German carrier OPDR from Bernhard Schulte Group for an undisclosed price. The acquisition will strengthen CMA CGM's presence on intra-European shortsea shipping, says the carrier.

CMA CGM, the world's third-largest container carrier, has acquired German carrier OPDR (Oldenburg-Portugiesische Dampfschiffs-Rhederei GmbH & Co. KG) from Bernhard Schulte Group, says the carrier in a press release.

The press release does not reveal the price of the transaction.
