Hapag-Lloyd completes EUR 370 million capital increase

German Hapag-Lloyd has now completed a planned capital increase for a total EUR 370 million as part of the merger with Chilean CSAV.

German container carrier Hapag-Lloyd has now completed a large capital increase of EUR 370 million, says the company in a statement on Monday.

The fresh capital is part of the merger agreement with Chilean CSAV that was finalized in early December - a merger that has created the fourth largest container carrier in the world.
