MSC's Northern European company doubles profits

MSC Scandinavia Holding, which has its headquarters in Copenhagen as part of the container giant Mediterranean Shipping Company, doubled profits in 2014, according to a new financial report.

MSC's Northern European business stretching to the Black Sea, MSC Scandinavia Holding, which has its headquarters in Copenhagen, increased both revenue and profits significantly in the fiscal year of 2014.

The company achieved a profit before taxes of USD 15 million compared to about USD 7.5 million in the previous year. At the same time, the revenue grew to about USD 916 million compared to about USD 858 million in 2013, according to the just released financial report for MSC Scandinavia Holding, which is headed by Lars Funding as CEO and Maurizio Aponte from the owner family as chairman of the board at the Italian-Swiss shipping empire.
