Drewry: Shippers are now noting rate increases
For the first time in years, shippers are declaring that contract rates on the major East-West trades are going up, writes Drewry referring to information from its own forum of shippers, the Benchmarking Club.

The customers of the container carriers - the various retail chains and producers - are now declaring that rates, in the contracts they have made with the shipping companies, are increasing.
