Drewry: Growing container transport on the Atlantic

Volumes on westbound transports between North Europe and North America are growing, according to a new analysis by Drewry. Several carriers are introducing new capacity on the services.

Westbound traffic on the Transatlantic trade between North Europe and North America is growing, according to new numbers from Drewry. In the first quarter of the year, volumes on the trade increased 8.4 percent compared to the same period last year.
