NOL confirms acquisition talks with Maersk and CMA CGM

Neptune Orient Lines, which is struggling with massive deficits, has confirmed that the carrier is in preliminary negotiations with both Maersk and French CMA CGM about a potential takeover. 

Maersk Group is in talks to acquire Singapore-based carrier Neptune Orient Lines (NOL).

French CMA CGM, the world's third largest container carrier, is allegedly also in preliminary talks to acquire the carrier, according to an announcement to Singapore's stock exchange.
