SeaIntel: New record for major carriers in reliability

After a critical period in the middle of the year, Maersk Line can now boast of being the most reliable container carrier in 2015, according to an analysis from SeaIntel Maritime Analysis, which also shows a new reliability record for the 20 largest carriers.

In spite of overcapacity and lower demand, 2015 was a good year for schedule reliability. Maersk Line was the best at arriving on time, according to the first analysis with figures from the full year 2015 compiled by SeaIntel.

SeaIntel Maritime Analysis notes these results in the most recent analysis of more than 12,000 port calls in 2015.
