China clears CMA CGM's takeover of NOL

Chinese authorities have approved CMA CGM's acquisition of Neptune Orient Lines. The French carrier now expects to make an official offer of USD 2.4 billion by early July.

CMA CGM now has the green light from Chinese authorities for the takeover of Neptune Orient Lines (NOL).

The confirmation has arrived in the wake of an approval from the EU Commission and thus the French carrier is officially ready to announce an offer of USD 2.4 billion.
