Keppel subsidiary wins huge order for container ships

A US subsidiary to the Singaporean yard group Keppel Offshore & Marine has won a large order for the construction of container vessels than can sail on LNG.

Keppel AmFELS, which is a US subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine, has landed an order to construct two container ships which can sail on LNG.

The order is worth a total USD 400 million and the buyer is Honolulu company Pasha Hawaii.
