Torm files for listing on Nasdaq in New York

Carrier Torm files for listing on the US Nasdaq exchange in New York and expects that the listing will be settled before the end of this year. Executive Director Jacob Meldgaard eyes a "real recovery", he tells ShippingWatch.

After years of preparation, tanker carrier Torm is now ready to file for a listing on the Nasdaq exchange in New York, informs the carrier in a notice to the stock exchange Wednesday, shortly after publication of its third quarter interim report.

Torm expects that the listing will be completed this year.
