Tanker carrier DHT books full-year profit after tough H2

Despite a tough second half of the year, Norwegian tanker carrier DHT Holdings achieved a profit for the full-year 2017 of USD 6.6 million.

Norwegian crude oil tanker carrier DHT Holdings landed a net profit of USD 6.6 million, shows the firms annual report, released Tuesday.

This is despite the fact that the carrier had a tough second half of the year where the net results for the third and fourth quarters came to losses. Compared to 2016's net result of USD 9.3 million, the carrier suffered a slight decline.
