OPEC's decision to cut oil production next year will not halt demand for crude tankers, writes Drewry. Especially one country's export will keep the market going.

Several countries' decision to lower the oil production might seem like a a challenge for crude tankers.

But although OPEC and other oil-producing nations, like Russia, have agreed to cut production with 1.2 million barrels per day until the first half of 2019, it will not affect the demand for crude tankers, projects maritime research consultancy Drewry.
