Torm books large deficit with bright 2019 outlook

Product tanker carrier Torm exits 2018 with a total deficit before tax of USD 33 million. However, the end of 2018 and early 2019 showed the best market in years, the company writes in its annual report.

The long-awaited improvement in the product tanker market is finally underway, says carrier Torm in its annual report for 2018.

The figures show a total pre-tax deficit of USD 33 million for the year. In comparison, Torm booked a profit of USD 3 million in 2017.
